Some cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore are very costly but places outside of some selected cities are much cheaper. Whichever University or city you wish to study in, you will easily be able to bear the overall cost of studying and living in Asia.

Degrees from most Universities in Asia is accepted worldwide. Employers and other institutes of higher learning easily recognize qualifications obtained at Asian Universities. Candidate with Asian degree offers employers the chance to diversify their employee base thus you might have added employment advantages in some cases. You can. Most Universities across Asia carry out classroom teaching in English language. The textbooks are in English. To attract international students, Universities are increasingly making their classes English friendly and Universities in some countries that required students to learn native language are also relaxing their policy. English is widely used in places like Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai for day to day activities. It is the official language in India and Hong Kong among other places. People in most large Asian cities speak and understand English with ease.

This depends upon which country you are studying in. Hong Kong does not allow international students to work. Singapore allows up to 16 hours of work per week. You will need special permission if you want to work more. China has traditionally been forbidding international students from part time work but is about to relax its policies to allow some amount of work. Japan normally does not allow international students to work but you can take a special permit from the immigration bureau by proving that the work will not interfere with your studies.

You can. Asia has a booming economy and provides ample opportunities of employment in every fields. You will have opportunities to apply for large multinationals like Sony, Toyota, Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Huawei, Nintendo, Petronas and others.

The provision for work after study varies according to country. Hong Kong requires no additional permission for up to 12 months of works after study. You need to apply for a new permission after one year. Singapore offers easy option to join the workforce but you will need to get work permission. You can work in Japan post study but you will need to change your status from college student to worker. You cannot work post study in China unless you have spent two working years overseas after completing your education in China.

You will have much less to worry about your visa if you are planning to study in one of Asian countries. India offers visa free travel for all Nepalese so Nepali students going to India for higher studies will require no visa. On arrival visa is available for Nepalese at countries like Singapore, Pakistan and Myanmar. The duration of on arrival visa is normally from one to a few months but can easily be extended for study purposes. Other countries also provide visa with ease for Nepali students if basic requirement is met.
