The cost depends upon the University in UK you are enrolling. Costs vary greatly between Universities. However, the average study cost for international students  in UK at graduate and postgraduate level is £11,000 per year.

Yes, you can. You are allowed to work up to 20 hours during academic years and unlimited hours during summer breaks and holidays.

The minimum wage in UK depends upon your age. It is £5.90 for 18-20 years old, £7.38 for 21-24 years old and £7.83 for those above 25 years. The minimum wage is revised every April. Keep track of the minimum wage by visiting this minimum wage page of the UK Government.

It varies depending upon where you are living. The UK Visas and Immigration suggests you to set aside at least £1,020 per month for living cost in London. However, London is one of the most expensive cities in the world. It does not cost as much in other parts of UK as the rent is significantly lower. Rent in London alone can range from £500-600 per month on a shared basis.

If you are applying for courses at or below National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 6 then you will need to take the IELTS examination. Level 6 is Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma.

It is general student visa awarded to students above 16 years of age. You will be applying for Tier 4 visa.

It depends upon the rule of the University you are applying to. Most Universities require you to pay a year of tuition fee upfront. Others require you to pay half year tuition fee or less. You need not pay more than a year of tuition fee in advance at most Universities.

It normally takes about 15 days for you to obtain visa once you’ve applied. We suggest you to apply at least three months before the start of your course to accommodate for delays and travel preparation.

There are  a number of scholarships on offer for international students who would like to study in UK. You can apply for them before coming to UK or after you start attending your courses. Scholarships awarded by Universities are normally distributed on the basis of performance after you have commenced your study.

Currently, Nepali students applying for Tier 4 visa will need to pay NRs. 52,234 as visa processing fee. This is subject to change. Use this tool to calculate the current visa processing fee for UK.

You need to show proof that you have sufficient fund to support yourself during your study in the UK. It can either be in the form of a bank balance, regular income or sponsorship. In case the bank balance is under your parent’s name, you need to present a relationship certificate. Tax clearance report is necessary for income sources. Letter of consent and proof of previous acquaintance is necessary if someone is sponsoring your study in the UK.

It is possible but it depends upon the rule of the University you are applying. Even if credit transfer is allowed, you won’t be able to carry all your credits. The amount of credit that will be transferred will depend upon the similarity of the course you took in Nepal with the course you will be taking in the UK, the quality of your course, your performance etc.
